We will inspect your property for methane going into the atmosphere without any cost to the landowner. Our goal l is to repair the leak or leaks ASAP!
We are very concerned about the amount of methane going into the atmosphere.
I have been using OGI cameras that see the invisible methane for over a decade. I have repaired over one thousand methane leaks. I have witnessed invisible methane gas escaping from the ground and abandoned wells, especially throughout Pennsylvania. Our goal is to stop methane from escaping into the atmosphere. The amount of money the government gives each state is not even close to how much is needed.
Most property owners do not have the money to inspect and repair leaks. You would be surprised how much it costs to look for the invisible methane (natural gas). The cost is in the thousands. Then you must add the cost for repairs.
Natural gas is colorless and odorless. Methyl mercaptan is added to natural gas as an odorant so we can smell a leak. Its smell is reminiscent of rotten eggs or cabbage. You can have a leak on your property for years and never know it without using the OGI (Optical Gas Imaging) camera!
An abandoned well typically refers to an unproductive well with a known owner/operator. On the other hand, an orphaned well typically refers to a well for which no former owner or operator is known.
